Suffolk
In The Suffolk Project I have been sharing my exploration of my new home in the UK. Suffolk is a rural county with a long history of arable agriculture and livestock rearing. It was made famous by artists such as Constable and Gainsborough, composer Benjamin Britten, and writers such as Adrian Bell, Ronald Blythe, George Ewart Evans and H W Freeman. The pictures you see in this gallery constitute the research which will eventually underpin more detailed projects. The themes of the Suffolk project continue my interest in economics, sustainability and land utilisation. There’s a lot of pictures as I photograph most days, but eventually stories and patterns will emerge, I believe.
Many of the people I photograph for the Suffolk project can also be seen in my people gallery.
You can follow the Suffolk project on it’s own website and instagram account. As you can see, The Suffolk Project even has it’s own van. Please wave if you see me!
